Work in progress - April 2023

Aflora is coming to life with units receiving final touches before decoration and delivery begins. As we work diligently on Phase 1 units we are taking special care to ready amenities and rehabilitate common areas with native vegetation and landscaping. As seasonal rains commence we are able to observe and optimize the functionality of our bioclimatic designs.

This month we also celebrate progress on the long-awaited connections to municipal services such as water, electricity, and drainage. Thanks to the hard work of our teams we have been able to expedite these processes which are essential to the functionality of our community.

Green Initiative

The 21 km stone perimeter wall of Tulum's National Jaguar Park has now been completed, delineating an area over 1000 hectares dedicated to the preservation of the endemic flora and fauna. Aflora guests will enjoy the close proximity of the park entrance just steps away from our community.

This month cleanup efforts have begun and as part of the modernization efforts of the municipal dump. Residuals will be moved into specialized cells and covered with inert material to minimize environmental contamination.

Community News

This month the town of Tulum has officially ratified its status as a Pueblo Mágico or Magic Town by the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico. The classification make Tulum one of just three town in the state to receive this honor based on its unique characteristics and culture.

We also celebrate the progress of three important community initiatives of Yáana Ha’ Museum, the Pok Ta Pok Sports Center, and the Community Development Center, new initiatives that will become cultural, touristic, and recreational meeting points for Tulum.
