November 2022 News

Hello Aflora Community! We are excited to enter another holiday high-season in Tulum as both tourism and local occupancy rates begin to rise. While much of the world is preparing for a cold winter, we are enjoying perfect conditions as beaches and seas are clear and calm. The final units of Phase 1 are moving quickly with end-of-the-year discounts in effect. Aflora investors are now able to receive up to 4% additional discounts on the purchase of additional units.

Onsite, we are rapidly advancing to make-up for time lost to material and labor shortages. Thankfully we are beginning to receive our orders of delayed materials and equipment as global supply chains begin to recover. With all phases currently in progress, we are able to exert power in numbers on key areas that are first in line to be completed.

From unique handcrafted tile to bespoke cabinetry, we begin to see Aflora’s living spaces come to life as they receive their final finishes. Our design teams work day and night testing materials and ambience in all lighting conditions. Undeterred by minor delays, we are proud to see the vision of a unique community based around nature and art become a reality.

Green Initiative

This November Aflora is getting greener than ever as we begin to landscape the integrated gardens in residential areas and amenities. With integrated drainage and drip systems, Aflora’s living spaces will be carefully adorned with native vegetation suitable for their unique location.

These organic installations will not only create a vibrant and lush atmosphere, but will also provide shade and privacy to residential areas. We will soon conclude testing on all garden installations and advance to the integration of local species.

Community News

This month Tulum received a visit from Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to personally announce details on upcoming projects and initiatives including the Maya Train and Tulum International Airport, both of which are currently undergoing important environmental impact surveys. The announcement concluded with news that within weeks we will be receiving official inauguration dates of these major initiatives.

As local businesses prepare for the impending high season, we have seen significant advances in public works projects including the improvement of key roads and the integration of stoplights and crosswalks in busy intersections. Return visitors will be pleased to find a safer, cleaner Tulum as we move closer to our vision of a sustainable future.
